PBA Rookie Draft 2012

     

The day of reckoning comes for Cebu prized-find June Mar Fajardo and 56 other aspirants as the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) holds its Annual Rookie Draft Sunday at the Midtown  Robinsons Place Manila, August 18, 2012.

  Petron Blaze owns the top pick in this year's proceeding and set to tab the 6-foot-10 Fajardo from University of Cebu as the No. 1 overall selection.

     Alaska chosen San Sebastian's Calvin Abueva as the No.2 overall pick. Alex Mallari, the No. 3 overall pick goes to the Petron Blaze.

     Clifford Hodge, as the No. 4 overall pick solidifies the Meralco Bolts defense. Barako Bull Energy owns the fifth pick and chose FEU's Aldrech Ramos but was traded to BMEG Llamados.

     The sixth pick was owned by Barangay Ginebra Kings and chose Chris Ellis. The Ateneo's pointguard superstar Chris Tiu was pick by the Rain or Shine as the No. 7 overall selection.  Keith Jensen was chosen by Barangay Ginebra Kings as the No. 8 pick.

     Global Port (Powerade) picked Vic Manuel as the No. 9 selection. Powerade's Sean Anthony was traded to BMEG for the 9th pick. And Jason Deutchman as the 10th overall pick.
