TNT: Back to the game

After losing their first two games, Talk n' Text Bounced back and broke into the win-column in the PBA Governor's Cup with an astonishing 102-87 victory against the previously unbeaten Petron Blaze Boosters at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Wednesday night.

Psyching themselves up certainly helped the Texters in this game.

"We made a commitment to forget what happened (in the Commissioner's Cup Finals). We set our minds," said coach Chot Reyes.

We're really affected by the last finals, we lost fun in the game. We dreaded going to practice, we dreaded going to the game," Reyes added.

Tropang Texters' import, Paul Harris outscored Boosters' Eddie Basden performance during the game. Harris led all scores with 27 big points and added 10 rebounds while Basden has 19 points and 13 rebounds.

Ranidel de Ocampo played an excellent game shooting at the rainbow country. De Ocampo came through with 23 points and 5 rebounds.

"Malaking bagay yung in-enjoy uli namin yung game," said De Ocampo.

Jared Dillinger and Japeth Aguilar contributed double-digit points while Ryan Reyes chipped in with five points, four rebounds and two assists.

The Texters dominated the Boosters with an impressive 52.1 percent shooting, 54.5 freethrow percentage.
